Carbon Sequestration Partnership (MRCSP)

Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership
The U.S. Department of Energy established seven regional partnerships comprised of more than 350 state agencies, universities, private companies and non-governmental organizations.  These partnerships form the core of a nationwide effort to address climate change through assessing the viability of different approaches for capturing and permanently story carbon dioxide.

The nine-member Midwest Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership (MRCSP) is comprised of the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  OCDO is a member of MRCSP’s Industry Partner Team, while the Ohio Division of Geological Survey and The Ohio State University are members of the Research Partner Team.
