Solar

Solar power, which is solar radiation emitted by our sun, has been used for centuries to create solar energy.  Solar energy is currently utilized in a variety of applications, including electricity generation, heating, transportation via solar cars, and in the desalination of seawater.  Fossil fuels, themselves – created by decaying plants that lived hundreds of millions of years ago – derive their own energy-producing characteristics from the sun through the photosynthesis process.
