Global climate change

Discussion and debate over global climate change have sparked increasing focus on the impact of rising concentrations of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.  The growing likelihood of new federal regulations to restrict carbon dioxide emissions, for example, represents a looming challenge for energy-intensive states such as Ohio.  The Strickland Administration is now assessing how best to prepare Ohio for a future in which greenhouse gas emissions are constrained.
