Advanced Energy Program

Dear Advanced Energy Stakeholder:

As you are aware, we have been crafting a program fulfilling the goals of HB 554, the $1.57 billion jobs stimulus package. Many of you participated in the stakeholder meetings this past September for the advanced energy component of the jobs stimulus package.

Your comments, questions and suggestions strengthened our planning and prompted us to revise the rollout schedule shared during the meetings. You were particularly clear on the need for the state to allow online submittal of applications for the program. To that end, we are putting the final touches on the program and its new website.

The program will be launched in two stages. The new project website will be available in late October to download program guidelines. In early November we will host a bidders conference open to all prospective applicants to answer questions and to provide clarification on the details of this new advanced energy program. After the bidders conference applicants will be able to enter their data online and begin the process to apply for funds.

Details on these events will be available shortly on our website, so I encourage you to check back often. One of the forthcoming website innovations will allow you to subscribe to news alerts concerning the program so that you can receive information and updates in real time.
